“I have a netgear C7000 Modem router. will adding this increase my wifi upload and download speeds? I currently have 100mbps hardwired but only 25mbps on wifi. I want to know if adding a nighthawk ac2300 will increase my WIFI speeds.”

not familiar with the c7000, but i can offer my own experience with wifi. 1- distance from router to device 2- obstructions 3- density of other wifi devices nearby 4- carefull setup of speed. My 5gb wifi is connecting to my fire tv at 289 mbps. but the actual connection speed to a test server is 69mbps/ varies. I found a small change of just a few feet makes a difference in the wifi spped, I have an app on my laptop to check the wifi coverage, channels in use, other wifi routers and signal strength (free app from lizard systems). I use the 5gb for 4k streaming to fire tv and apple tv and the 2.4gb for everything else. hope this helps
