Google is your friend! But basically, first you need to ask your internet provider to put your current modem/router/gateway into bridge mode. From there you can follow the instructions in the box, and the app is great for guiding you through the setup. Pro tip: name the new WiFi network the same thing as your current one, and give it the same password too. That way as soon as you finish the basic setup of the new router, all of your devices will automatically connect. I could've saved so much time over the years if some random stranger on the internet had shared this little trick.
