QuestionWill this router improve wired internet speed on ps5? I currently have the cm1200 modem and ac1750 netgear router butni can’t get even close to my internet plan of 1200 mb.

- Answer I have a 400mb plan via spectrum and got 450mbps on a wired connection. It should work as long as the modem is rated for your ISP's plan. You can check this by plugging the PS5 into the modem directly to the modem with a short 2'-6' Cat 6 cable, and running a speed test from the PS5's system menu.

- Answer the main wan port NO, but you can use port 1 with wan port for 2 1gb connections. There also is a 5gb ethernet port you can use, but you need to change it in the settings to use it for wan

QuestionLooks like this one is 8 stream model but name advertises as 12 stream. That is very misleading to lot of people who are not familiar with intricacies of router. Could you verify this and change the name?

- Answer The 8 stream and the 12 stream are two different models of the same router. The specs on both models are different. Plus it's against the law to sell products saying they are one thing but there not.

- Answer I have TDS fiber. I thought I needed a VDSL modem, but customer support said I only needed a WiFi router. If your PC connects directly to the ONT and the internet works, then you only need a WiFi router.

- Answer It absolutely WILL help you gain speeds that you're paying for. Don't know why the BB associate said it wouldn't. I had Spectrum/Time Warner and I was only getting around 125 mbps wirelessly of the 300 I was paying for, with their router. As soon as I installed the Nighthawk, I was getting 260-270 consistently.

- Answer The nighthawk ax-12 has improved the connection with all the devices .It was place downstairs up hight in the middle of the home, next to the main wifi. And found a improvement after setup

- Answer It's just a router, you will still need a modem. You may be able to buy your own modem or get one from your internet service provider. Either way, you will need to talk with them to get the modem provisioned to your account.

- Answer Available...OFDMA yes, Target Wake Time no. Updates will come via firmware. WPA3 doesn't work with anything right now except some phones or select devices but its not universal. Your printer for example.
