Yes. I had 2 rooms that weren’t getting WiFi and I plugged the unit just outside of those rooms and now they both have WiFi.

Please try again later.I had a very similar problem and a similar system (Orbi), and as long as the extender is inside the coverage area of either the base or a satellite (it has to get a signal to extend with), it will create essentially another node on the mesh network. Mine is located in a garage between two safes (only outlet in the darn garage) and it’s about 60’ from the closest Orbi satellite. It doesn’t show up as another satellite, but it will show up as a connected device (EX-7500) on the connected devices list.
