This router how ever will make it so someone can be watching say Netflix or Hulu and you could be gaming in a different room and neither of your TVs will lag. When you sign up for internet service tell them you already have a router if you purchase this otherwise you will be charged for one through that company.
A:AnswerI didn't get much of a boost in speed with this router, but its signal power and coverage improved the quality of my internet (more stable). Bottom line- If your internet is always slow, don't expect a router to do much for you.
