- Answer We have an Arlo and multiple other devices connected. Not all items are running 5G. This will router will provide the speed for that specific device 2.4 or 5G.

QuestionHad this device for 7 months and for the last 2 months we have had to reboot the WiFi router at least 1 per day because it no longer connects to the internet. Once rebooted the device works for a few hours. Is this normal for the device?

QuestionI rent a basement, the owners live upstairs. I get poor internet service down here. My son is a gamer Will this router help in getting better signal? And would I need to get my own modem or Will this connect to upstairs modem without cables? TY

- Answer Yes it does. I use the Nighthawk app and control just about everything in it. If not then use 192.168.1.1 on the Internet and it takes you to the routers entire control page. In the top right you will see on option to set for auto on updates

QuestionDoes this router (AC1900) include a Firewall that can be used permanently? I was told that it is a temporary/trial use for 30 days. After that, I have to purchase it for $150/1yr, $200/3yr, or $250/lifetime. This router will not work w/o firewall.
