- Answer You need an ethernet connection to the modem but that is the only wired connection you would need.

QuestionI have Cox cable with a Cisco DPQ3212. All my devices are now iOS. My current wireless was set up on a laptop with Windows. My Mac doesn't have any internet ports. Will I be able to connect to this router? Is range >400 ft?

- Answer My MacBook has no issues connecting to this router. We have not tried to find the maximum range but service is great in our home (roughly 2000 square feet) and still works well outside in the yard.

- Answer Yes works with my CenturyLink DSL as long as CL modem is already in place. My modem is mounted to outside of house and was there from previous owner. This is a proprietary modem directly from CL. I complained about paying the $10 rental charge they billed me since I bought the router. The removed this charge! Be careful w this company!

- Answer That’s exactly why I purchased it. Upgraded and now on fiber and I have 7-8 items connected and I am getting speeds at and over 100 and I signed up for 100 service it was very easy to install right out of the box

- Answer This is a router. You need a cable modem. If you want Wi Fi then you need a cable modem plus a router.
