I was going to say "LOL" to this question but then I realized that even I was first thinking of not putting on the wall in front of my desk due to signal noise. It is bound to the exact same limitations as all the other routers and cannot exceed FCC limits. So it is safe and wont cook anything but it certainly does put out electronic (not audible) noise, so keep it away from things like tv and pc cables that carry visual signals and such.
