A:AnswerDon’t know about Nest cameras, but my router works well with a number of Insteon cameras, Vtech cameras and my Arlo setup. Do not see why it would have a problem with the Nest cams. Someone esle have experience with Nest cams on this router?

Make sure firmware is updated, make sure placement of router is not blocked

A:AnswerIt can be used as a secondary router but why? You just killing your speed. All the functions will work just make sure to restart all equipment and set up the router first before u connect to the other router.
A:AnswerIf u doing wired connection this router only have 4 ethernet ports. U will need a switch for 30 computer. If u connecting all 30 through wifi it will lag u gonna need at least 1Gig speed.
