Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The default setting should be fine, there should really be no need to create a DMZ. But if you must then you must. At this point just hit the reset button on the back of the router. Bring everything back to defaults. Name your router, name your wireless, Confirm your network map (by renaming devices on the network), then dial into the router and go directly to the DMZ setting making the Xbox part of the DMZ
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Getting moderate nat but have not yet tried to change settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely I am getting open NAT. Google open NAT xbox one issue for netgear nighthawk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.so far I have not even fine tuned any of the setting for my Xbox 1 and I have no issues like I had previously on my old net gear with speed etc. From what I saw in some of the settings while setting up for my home network looks like this does a lot of the work for us in gaming etc. being a Uverse subscriber it has always been a royal pain to get the Uverse gateway to port forward any ports etc. There are ways to do some of them but Att is very stingy with knowledge etc. But like I said 7 days of using this router behind my Uverse and absolutely no issues!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can not get open NAT on my Xbox or PS4. From what I understand moderate is the standard and I am not sure why you are messing around with a DMZ. Or why you are trying to turn off firewalls as the QOS engine takes care of prioritizing and this router in particular is designed for gaming and low latency. I have found it works extremely well and have no trouble finding games online with pings in the teens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I had many issues with Titanfall on Xbox one with this router. Strangely though, my nat was open. Download speeds and wireless strength were hardly consistent however, and so I ended up returning it. So instead, if you are looking to purchase a high-end router for gaming, I highly recommend the Asus router I purchased after this. My NAT is almost always open (rarely moderate, and not sure why) , Titanfall works exceptionally well with it, and it holds consistent speeds and strength. I also purchased AC Infinity Dual 80mm electronics fans from Amazon to baby it and keep it cool. This should allow it to last longer. Lastly, did I mention it is also cheaper than this Netgear router? Hope this helps. :)
