One comment I will make is that I am pretty sure another router can be used as a satellite. If you need that and get another router on sale for virtually the same price as a satellite

A:AnswerThe last answer is wrong. Just cuz it has 10GB port has nothing to do with MSH capability lmao. Here is the chart. It doesn't work with 750 series as that is older but the wireless features are all the same as 850 series. So yes it does work with 850 satellites so you can upgrade the router piece and reconfigure if you need faster WAN port. I myself am considering this as i have 850 series since there are plans in my neighbor hood to get upgraded to AT&T fiber or Spectrum to 5Gig.
