“Does the Netgear PL1200 powerline unit send out a wireless signal, or is it just wired via ethernet?”

• The unit with the antenna sends wifi based on what goes into the other unit which you wire to your router

• The unit w/o antennas send Ethernet along the house wiring to the unit WITH antennas which then crests a WiFi Access Point. Pretty sure you can also use the Ethernet port for wired access as well. But that is not how I'm using it so not sure.
