- Answer Probably not. Suggest you look at powerline networking. I use it for my TV and it's just like being hardwired. The Best Buy folks can help you with this.

- Answer This is compatible with all wireless protocols. Lag is dependent on a lot of variables. If the device is setup correctly you will get a full wireless signal to devices that are in range. The full wireless signal will only provide the bandwidth and speed available at the configured distance from your wireless router.

QuestionMy signal connection improved greatly from 70% connection on my Xbox to 100% however the download speed is a lot lower. The download speed on my regular wifi is usually at 60 Mbps but the download speed on my ext wifi is only 10 mbps. What is wrong?

- Answer It could be because this extender only operates at 2.4 GHz whereas your router may have 5 GHZ as well as 2.4 GHz channels.

- Answer It puts out a standard WiFi signal so yes. Lag may be a bigger problem though since there will be a slight speed loss.
