• Hi Karen, for the Intel NUC Kit NUC6CAYS you are looking at you can expand the memory up to 8GB of RAM in which you would have to purchase DDR3 SDRAM to expand the memory. Your WD Passport hard drive is for storage so you can save your files like office documents, music, videos and more. Since this unit comes with 32 GB of storage and you feel you need more you could then use your WD Passport to expand the storage with one of the available USB ports. Thank you for choosing Intel.
