Yes the camera comes with an internal battery although I've never had to unplug it from my vehicle because you'll be downloading an app on your phone during setup and I just transfer any video I want to keep over to my phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it has an internal memory and if you install an SD card and if you have the app on your smart phone you can access the camera with your phone as long as it's not recording and bring up all the videos and then you can download them to you phone
