- Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. We advise our system be operated within the specified weather ratings for the camera and recorder, but cabling can be run outside if needed. QuestionCan I run the cable under ground as long as it's in leak proof hose or PVC pipe? Or is there a wireless camera I can buy to add to this unit?

You also have the option of using our A/C powered WiFi add on camera if power is available. QuestionCan the Cameras be powered through P.O.E?

Technically P.O.E. only works with NVR systems that employ ethernet (E) cable which we offer and are happy to provide a recommendation if you'd like. This system is DVR based recorder and indeed does provide power via the included cabling back at the recorder location, but is not technically POE. QuestionWhy do the cameras are showing night vision mode during the day? I just bought them like a month ago and they are having this issue since the beginning. The only way I can get them to show color mode is by disconnecting them and plugging them back in.

QuestionHow long of cable can you run with it I need 3 camers to run about 600ft then the rest will be around 50ft

- Answer I got rid of Blink for that reason. To watch recorded footage without missing frames you need a DVR. I went back to wired Night Owl with DVR.

This system includes the DVR recorder with 1TB HD that will maintain all of your footage. We also offer cameras that can act as stand alone (no recorder needed) but would require either microSD storage or cloud based storage (for a fee) to maintain recordings. - Answer Thank you for the questions and happy to help as you evaluate systems. You have the option to run continuous recording or just event based recording. You can control this via the system settings. Depending on your settings the system will overwrite legacy data as it maintains current footage.
