This DVR records security camera footage directly to its built-in hard drive and plays back through the Night Owl Protect app, a monitor connected to the DVR, or a CMS software on your PC/Mac.

QuestionI have 8 Panasonic cameras on my house. They are wired, via 8 ethernet cables to a 8 port POE switch. That switch then provides the signals to a Supermicro computer. I want to replace the Supermicro computer with this DVR. Will your DVR work?

- Answer Thank you for the question and happy to try and help. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the compatibility of cameras that we have not manufactured. There is coding and internal components that are unique to each manufacturer. Best Buy does offer a great return policy though if you wish try the compatibility. Best of luck.
