Q: QuestionI bought a night owl 1080p HD doorbell and it cannot connect to the wifi, I have Telus high speed internet and wifi at my door but when the doorbell is pairing it tells me it cannot connect, do I need the sd card in the camera for it to connect to wifi?

Q: QuestionI have the night owl x wireless I know it doesn't need internet to view on a tv but if I want to view my cameras on my phone or tablet do I have to connect it to LAN with the provided cable or can I connect the box to my existing wifi without a LAN cord

• A:Answer If the recordings have been deleted from the hard disk drive, then there is no recovering them. Before deleting the recordings, you should back up recordings you want to save to a USB Flash Drive or save them to your Smart Device via the App. Thank you.

• A:Answer Our system operates as P2P. The NVR connects to the App P2P for security purposes. Additionally, our system can operate as a CCTV, if you choose not to remotely view the cameras from a Smart Device or Computer. • A:Answer That depends on your record settings. By default, our DVR/NVRs are set to auto-overwrite when the HDD becomes full. This means the system will start recording over older footage to accommodate new recordings. You can deselect this option from within the Main Menu. Note, without this option selected, your product will stop recording when the HDD becomes full. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Yes, you can run 2 systems in the same house, though this will be a considerable strain on your bandwidth and you will need exceptional Internet speeds for remote viewing.
