Questionif replacing the Hard drive voids the warranty, can you add an external Hard drive? but if you do replace the internal Hard Drive does it comes with pre-installed programs? will it work fine if just replace it with a 4TB Hard drive?

- Answer Good evening. This system only accepts one HDD. While replacing the HDD does void your warranty, the included 1TB HDD provides an estimated 1 year of storage capacity while operating under motion recording. This covers the purchaser for the length of the one year warranty. The maximum HDD size the system will accept is 4GB and the recommended speed is 7200 RPM. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

Questioni bought the Night Owl - 100' BNC Video/Power Camera Extension Cable, will this do to connect all 4 cameras? or do i need another 100' to connect 2 at a time per cable?

- Answer Good evening. The 100-foot extension cable can only be used to connect one camera. For each camera that will be mounted further than 60 feet (the length of included cable), you will need to purchase an extension cable for each camera. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

- Answer Not quite zoom in but in your phone you can zoom in like you would zoom in on a photo, but it will destor the image a bit.

QuestionI have a 3/4 inch stub up conduit from the basement with one existing coax(Comcast cable). I can't fit the security cable that comes with the night owl because it already has the connectors on it. Please help!!!

- Answer Only option you would have if opening size can't be expanded is to buy the naked cable and ends and install ends after wire is run.

- Answer Good morning. Yes, the camera will still detect motion through a window. Please be aware that if you have this camera pointed outside of a window, the LEDs could reflect off of the glass and create bright spot(s) in nighttime footage. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

- Answer Good morning. Night Owl's DVRs/NVRs can only accommodate one (1) hard drive up to 4TB. Most of our systems come with a 3.5 inch HDD, but it can be replaced with a 3.5 or 2.5 inch HDD. The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. Please be aware that opening the case of the DVR will void any active warranty. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
