QuestionCan I add more cameras?Hello, I see that this is a 8 channel DVR with 4 cameras. While the cameras are fine for outside the house, I wanted to monitor indoors with more subtle cameras. Does this system only work with other Night Owl cameras? Or can I add 3rd part camera's to the DVR setup? If so, what specifications do I need to look for in 3rd part cameras that can be added to this system? Thanks!

- Answer Its not require to have router to watch view on TV. Device has HDMI and VGA. To use Mobile needs to use internet router. Mobile can go anywhere to watch view @ hotspot wireless.

- Answer Good Afternoon. The DVR has a secure login that can only be accessed by someone with the login information. Additionally, our cameras have a three axis vandal proof mounting bracket as well. - Answer Good Afternoon, The motion sensor will detect everything within the field of view of the camera. However, you may need to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor if you notice the camera is not detecting items you think it should. Adjusting the sensitivity is easily accomplished by accessing the Camera menu within the Main Menu. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

QuestionDo you have to run the start-up wizard, if I'm not going to use this system on a phone or tablet? I have no router or internet connection. How do I by pass the email screen on the wizard? All I want to do is install my cameras and view them on my HDTV.

- Answer Thank you for your great question! In order for you to do a factory reset on your Night Owl system, you want to first, go to your main menu, select the device tab, left click on the HDD section, select your HDD and finally, left click on format HDD which will be located at the bottom right corner of your screen. A message will come up on the screen letting you know that you will loose all your data after going through the process, click on ok to begin the process.
