“I have cat5e wired to several outside locations. Can these cameras be readily connected to the cat5e and then the cat5e to the DVR? And then the dvr to my modem?”

• Yes. you need to purchase "Power Through BNC BALUNS." One is required at each end. the Cat5 plugs into the Balun amd on the other side of it is two wires for power and a BNC.

• Cameras are connected though cable with BNC connectors. You would need to run cable to cameras. This cable comes in the box. You would then connect DVR to router with cat5 cable

• No. The cat5 cable goes from DVR to modem or router only. No place on cameras to hook up cat5. T hey don't even have audio unless you wanna buy different cameras.
