“I see that all DVR’s have a network jack in the back l. My problem is my router is in another room. Do they make a DVR that uses WIFI connection instead of Ethernet connect to the router? If not, is there a way around it? I am thinking a USB wireless card”

you could purchase ethernet power line adapters that your house wiring for ethernet. works great or me.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you want to remotely view your system on a Smart Device, PC or Mac, you will need to have it hardwired to your router via Ethernet cable. So, unfortunately, the only option would be to purchase a longer Ethernet cable and make the connection. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
