Q: QuestionCamine of those additional cameras be a voice recording?
Asked by Speedgrandma.
- A:Answer There are camera models that are compatible with this DVR that do voice pickup and recording. The DVR will record it too (those cameras also come with their own 60' cable). The cameras that ship with the unit do not pick up audio.

Q: QuestionHow much Mb does the internet velocity has to be for it to function properly? (For cable wired cameras) can a 8mb internet velocity be okay so that I may see it from any mobile device? Will it affect the quality of the image?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It should work, but it will be incredibly slow. The faster the connection on both ends ( DVR & remote viewing device) the better it will be. There are 2 settings for the quality, low quality but smoother video, and higher quality but choppier viewing. This is only for the remote viewing. When downloading video it should all be the same quality. Also, downloading video from remote device will be slow if not possible on that slow of a connection. I would just not count on being able to remotely view them if you're on a connection that slow. Great cameras though.

Q: QuestionIs there a lag time in the feed when watching from the app?
Asked by Greent.
- A:Answer Not really. Maybe a half second if that. I swapped out one of my cameras for a different model (nothing wrong with the camera, just wanted to see what this new model was like), and the installer wanted to re aim one of the cameras. I bought up that camera's feed on my smart phone and he used that to check the aim. No noticeable delay.
