4g droid phones are android based. So as long you have wifi or 4g service and the installed correlating program [I have night owl so I use night owl hd from the play store] The cameras are somewhat irrelevant. It depends on the cameras dvr system being hooked into the internet. 720p on my 1080 system looks grainy at night even on a smaller screen like a phone but it should serve its purpose. You will do okay by making this purchase. ...best of luck!
