• Great question. This doorbell replaces your existing wired doorbell. While it is Wi-Fi in the sense that it connects wirelessly to your Internet network, it is wired for power and chime. So, you will need the existing cabling in place to set it up. Without that cabling in place, you may need to hire an electrician to complete setup. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.
