Yes, you can use the Sigma 70-200mm with the Nikon d3400. Be sure that you by the Sigma Nikon mount lens, as they make the same lens for the canon mount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As both of the lenses in the Portrait and Macro Two lens kit are AF-S type lenses, they both have Nikon's built-in Silent Wave Autofocus motor. Your D3400 will require these type of lenses if you want to use autofocus. Lenses that do not have built-in focus motors can be used, however, you would need to focus manually. A further note - Nikon's AF-P type NIKKOR lenses will, in addition, autofocus with your D3400. They, too, have a built-in focus "pulse" type autofocus motor.
