QuestionI wanted to buy a 50mm lense for low light portrait style photography. I have a d7500 which is has a crop sensor and from what I understand is that for a crop sensor this lense might be closer to a 50mm (52mm if my math is right) Is that right?

- Answer Yes, I have nikon d5200 which is a crop censor too. It really closer but it work for portrait but I don't recommend for group shoot.

QuestionWhat are the dimensions of this lens? And would this be a good lens for a Music Festival?I'm going to Bonnaroo this summer and you are allowed to bring in a camera with detachable lenses as long as its shorter than 2 inches. So, is this lens shorter than two inches and would it be a good lens for photographing people and the bands?

- Answer Would be good for photographing people but not bands. For bands you need a longer focal length lens such as a 70-200.
