A:AnswerThe L340 Coolpix is considered a point and shoot camera and does not have interchangeable lens option. It does however have a built in optical zoom lens
A:AnswerTo get discounts products that have a small market must either be on clearance, or used. I shopped around everywhere and the few places that carried this lens had it for the same price. I chose best buy because of all the places they have the best support and turnaround time if something happens. Amazon not so much. I
A:AnswerThe AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens is compatible with the F100 Film SLR. There are no exceptions with this lens on that camera. The F100 has full support for AF-S type lenses, with the exception of DX-type AF-S lenses, which would vignette.
A:Answer"Yes", in terms of capturing *much* more of the scene. "No" in terms of low-light performance and "maybe" in terms of how close you can get to the action. To get the most out of this lens you need good lighting and to be closer to your subject than you think you might. To get better low/indoor light performance (a lens with a larger maximum aperture/smaller f-stop) you have to pay a *lot* more. If you're up in the stands you might end up with some really inclusive shots of the court with a lot of players that are hard to make out.
You might be better off with an 18-200 or 18-300 *zoom* lens that would allow you to capture as much or as little of the action as you want at a moment's notice.
Good luck!
A:AnswerNo. The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens is designed to fit DX and FX format DSLR bodies. To learn more about DSLR cameras please contact Nikon Support.
A:AnswerAn Fx lens would work on DX cameras as well. You need to understand the crop factor though. It would be a 75mm when using on a DX camera. That's because of the crop factor 1.5x
A:AnswerI researched this lens along with 50 1.8g special edition and the 1.4g and chose this one for cost and performance. I shoot with the Nikon D810 also and the combo is great I would recommend buying this lens.
A:AnswerThe Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens is a compatible lens for the Nikon D750 DSLR camera. It's a great lens for low light situations and can provide seamless changes between manual and autofocus modes with the click of a switch.
A:AnswerThis lens will allow you to take much clearer pictures indoors and lower light. Remember this is a fixed 50mm focal length and your kit lense is adjustable down to 18mm which is much wider. If you have the 18mm to 55mm kit lense set your zoom to 50mm and see if that works for you. Best Buy also carries a 35mm lense for nikon. Giving you a little larger field of view

A:AnswerA US lens purchased from Best Buy will have the same warranty option as with any other authorized dealer... just make sure that it's the f1.8 that has the extended warranty, and not just the more expensive f1.4. Frankly, with a combination of Nikon's lens quality and the very low cost of this lens, you can't go wrong. Just don't buy a "grey market" import lens without a US warranty, as Nikon will not service such hardware.
