A:Answer A US lens purchased from Best Buy will have the same warranty option as with any other authorized dealer... just make sure that it's the f1.8 that has the extended warranty, and not just the more expensive f1.4. Frankly, with a combination of Nikon's lens quality and the very low cost of this lens, you can't go wrong. Just don't buy a "grey market" import lens without a US warranty, as Nikon will not service such hardware.
