• Teleconverters are available for some lenses that can attach to the D3100, but in and of itself no interchangable lens camera will have a teleconverter. Teleconverters are only available for professional series super telephotos, where they're really needed anyway.

• The compatibility with the teleconverter would be with the lens not the camera body.
