• Yes. The ice cream function's 2nd row, 2nd from the left. As far as the outlet goes, the plug is compatible with today's modern electric technology, so I'd guess yes. I've got mine hooked up to a surge protector.

• mine has the "Ice Cream" selection you can press to do that It is MODEL # HB-152 that is all I can tell you since I do not know the other answer you were looking for check the model # I sent you of Mine and see when you look it up and it will tell you more than I can.

• You can make ice cream with it but you still have to put it in a container and refrigerate it for 1-2 hours. Doesn’t come with any special outlets to make ice cream.
