Yes, it's definitely possible for two people to play with what's included in the box. A single player can use one joycon, no matter left or right.

It depends on the game, but yes, the console uses its controllers as a single unit, or two separate units!

Yes the console comes with two controllers. They can be detached from the screen and used as two controllers
