DO NOT RETURN THE SYSTEM. The problem is systemic with all of the controls called Joycons. It is also a problem with the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. A quick fix is to do a cleaning with just a Q-tip (you can wet it a bit too) and clean under the joystick. That can temporarily fix the issue on both the Joycons and Pro Controller. Unofficially, Nintendo of America has told their CS reps to fix all Joycon related repairs for free. Call Nintendo and they'll give you a shipping label to get them shipped and fixed. You do not need to return the system. Also call Nintendo and they can help restore your digital purchases from your old system!
