Not positive on the Voltage, but when i went to europe i had to buy an adapter that converts the plug so that i could use a lower voltage device aka my cell phone. So i am assuming you will need to do the same to avoid damaging the system. But if i recall correctly the adapter is fairly cheap and should be local to you.
