• A:Answer From the many different independent reviews I've read on other sites. It seems that pedaling IS required to reach 28 MPH. Pedaling triggers the cadence sensor which tells the motor to go top speed. Having said that I don't own the bike myself and can't verify this in anyway. Although I do hope to one day buy one.

• A:Answer You can only get them from NIU. They have an absolutely horrible repair policy and all parts are proprietary so a bike shop can't help you as I tried to have it repaired at my local shop when I realized how difficult NIU was to deal with. If you are in the return windows still please return the bike because if you have an issue you will have major problems getting it resolved. Read my review on best buy titled" Niu bqi c3 Nightmare".

• A:Answer When I received my Ebike, had same problem. You need to loosen fork retaining mount, then turn the fork 180 degrees, into the correct position. The manufacter installed the fork backwards.
