• Hi, hope you're doing Ok, emails retrieved by e-mail apps to your computer and stored within operative system, either Windows or MacOS, I experienced the antivirus it doesn't detect them until you made a full scan, if you are currently receiving spam constantly with attachments from unwanted senders, I recommend check your email by Web instead, at least for a while. But it is not to be paranoid though, if you want to keep storing your emails on your computer there are options on settings to do not retrieve attachments as well, regards :)
