• This is a "can do" for this lovely machine. Word to the wise, have your butter at room temperature. The machine pops the corn quickly to keep it from drying out and getting tough.

• It does not. The others I have seen have holes in the top for butter to fall into it. This one does not have that.

• no not really and it makes for a mess. that cup is the measuring cup for the corn.
