I would answer that with “sort-of.” I have pretty severe hearing loss in one ear and I can hear better with the buds in. You can’t control them separately, so you would get the same amount of amplification in both ears. They also only last a few (3 maybe?) hours on a charge before you have to put the buds back in the case for a half-hour or so. One of my big issues is hearing on the phone, so I use them as a regular Bluetooth earbud for phone calls. Unfortunately, the sound level on both ends of the call is inconsistent. After three weeks, I give them a 2-3.
