No. Its replaces it with some plastic piece that goes where the hard drive currently resides. If you want to add more, get a 4TB hard drive. I have one and use a 4 TB . no issues and can use all the features
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can swap the hard drives out but it can not hold more than one hard drive at a time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you can't. This device is to allow your PS4 to accept 3.5" Desktop hard drives instead of the smaller 2.5" laptop hard drives. Before you ask why, it's because desktop HD's go up to 8tb (this device can only support up to 6tb now) at 7200rpm speeds. Laptop HD's past 1tb are all 5400rpm drives and usually max out around the 2tb range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This unit takes up the space were your current hdd is. You then install your hdd into this unit. So you gain nothing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You have to remove your hard drive from the ps4, hook this up, and install your hard drive into this unit. You will gain nothing as far as expansion. The only advantage to this is to make your hard drive swaps faster and easier in the future.
