I had read about this product months ago in a press release and kind-of forgot about it until one day I'm browsing a Best Buy and lo and behold there it is in the PS4 section. Needless to say I purchased it along with a 4 Terabyte hard drive and I couldn't be happier. Its easy to install and works flawlessly. The only downside is the long long process of backing up your games data from the PS4's original drive to a backup drive in order to be copied back to this device once its installed. I now have all my PS4 games available to play. There is a notation on the products box and instruction sheet that some features of the PS4 will not be available. As of the current 3.00 firmware every feature and function is fully working. Do yourself a favor and pickup this product, its inexpensive and tremendously increases the usability of your PlayStation 4.

After reading several reviews online as well as elsewhere, I decided to upgrade my HD (to a 3TB HD) on my PS4 using this. A few commented that there were no problems going beyond the 2TB limit recommended on the product. While the expanded storage was a bonus, the loss of using rest mode was discouraging as I did not want to leave my unit on all the time. The few times it did go to rest mode, it would shut down. I ended up getting rid of this and just buying a 2TB HD made for laptops. Fits perfectly inside the PS4 and works perfectly. So if you are wanting to keep all the features of your PS4 but still get more storage, then just buy a 2 TB HD. If rest mode is NOT important to you and you jsut want make storage, then this may be the product for you. Good luck.

This is what every PS4 gamer been looking for! Since the release of the PS4 it kind of sucked that it only had 500gb, today you can buy this along with a desktop hard drive & you're good to go. I bought a Western Digital 3tb, the only hiccup is that you won't be able to put the PS4 into Rest Mode if you go with more than 2tb, which isn't a big deal & if you go this route go check out some videos on YouTube that shows you what is needed, it's real easy

I purchased this in 2015 and installed a 4tb harddrive inside was super easy to setup and install into the ps4. My system was maxed out and was easy to move games over to new harddrive without any issues at all was super easy. I will say I have never had any over heating issues at all and I play daily for hours at times. 100% Recommend product with no issues at all.

I purchased the nyco data bank for my ps4 because my hdd was full (500gb). I also purchased the wd blue 2tb hard drive to place inside and it works amazingly. It is really easy to install and get setup.

This is a good product if you have a few extra 3.5" drives laying around. If you're buying both the drive and the Nyko data bank, it makes more sense to just buy a new 2.5" drive. It'll look better and be cheaper. The hard drive bank was easy to install, but the software installation was a pain.

This was one of the easiest upgrades to my PlayStation system. Along with a Seagate 3 tb hard drive couldn't have been any easier.

I really needed extra space and this was a very inexpensive way to get it. Very easy install. Works fine for what I need.

3 Terra hard drive works well. Must use minor adjustment to fit the drive into receptacle for the hard drive. Small warning though, later hard drives may have to be adjusted to fit.

This accessory houses a desktop sized hard drive to expand the storage capacity of a PS4 system. East install, and it works as described.

Very easy to install. Easy to get hard drive in and out if you need to upgrade it. Like that you can use a regular size hard drive.

The PS4 does not come with sufficient memory for proper gaming. We upgraded Tia two terabyte hard drive with this drive port. It was an easy install and now works great. Just remember to download new software from SONY.

Simple to install and definitely helped me out with more storage for my console

Got this in addition to a 2TB drive to give my ps4 some much needed space. The physical installation itself is very straightforward and not terribly difficult. Just make sure you can backup your data and you have a flash drive so you can do the update after you install the new drive. I now have a ton of space for my games and it even loads I bit faster.
