    Great way to add memory to my PS4 but the installation is long and cumbersome. If you're expecting to plug and play be prepared cause you're not.

    This is a great addition to upgrade the very limited ps4 storage space. Purchased this along with a very reasonable 2tb hard drive and have yet to run out of storage space.

    Install is easy. Much easier than I thought. Worked like a charm. Just be sure to download the right firmware and youre good to go. My only setback was the hdd failed me after 1 month. I presume it was a corrupted hdd and Seagate had no probs sending me a new one. This is a hdd issue not a data bank issue.

    Got this hard drive bay for 3.5" hard drives for my PS$ - It works and I have now a 5TB hard drive in my PS4. Plenty of room!

    I bought this so I could upgrade the HD to 2GB. This device is apparently built for older models of the PS4 - a standard notebook HD is all that is needed for the PS4.

    I was a bit disappointed when I got home to try and connect this and found out it was only the shell to the external drive and not the drive itself, I was confused with details on the box so I asked for help and was told this was all I needed , so if you buy this , keep in mind , it's only the shell that holds the drive and you will need to purchase an external harddrive to even use this item , and for the price of the hard drives I'm not sure it's worth it

    We were disappointed to find that the data bank only holds the additional memory card, which is not included. After receiving it, we then had to get a memory card. It works fine, but be aware that it does not have everything needed.
