A:AnswerIt should work just fine for your 2005 tv. Most companies use the same remote codes for decades. I have Sony remotes that were purchased in the late 90's that still work on Sony tv's that I purchased in 2015 and 2020.
The only problem you will have is trying to read the small print in the instructions manual for the codes.
