“TX NR646 Does this model have a phono input that will not require a separate pre amp I have an old Dual turntable that I used with my of TX 866. That unit has finally failed. Will this unit be able to connect the phone and play my old vinyl ? I see a lot of bad reviews with short working life on this model after set up - complete failures. Is this a common issue and will you replace a unit that has this issue within days of set up?”

That is one of the reasons that I am looking at this, it has to have that input, for I to have dual turntables! As far issues with this receiver, you have to contact Onkyo!
