QuestionMy right rear channel speaker has static/noise/interference, swapped with left channel speaker same, change wires 16awg and 14awg, all other speakers sound great. I also spray with dust cleaner, I’m afraid it may be receiver, any suggestions

QuestionThe “CBL/SAT” connection stopped working. Now the “GAME” connection has audio but no video. HDMI all connections. “STRM BOX” and “BD/DVD” last workin inputs. Have reset, checked all cables. Is it broken already?

QuestionI have a Polk audio Bluetooth soundbar that I want to connect to the receiver. Can this be connected via Bluetooth? I also have a projector that I need to plug to the receiver for pictures while use my Bluetooth soundbar for audio.

QuestionHow do I access "System Settings" so I can set the "HDMI Audio Output" to"HDMI2" or "Auto". There is no "Index" in the 37 page owner's manual that I downloaded and in no place do I see any options for "HDMI Audio Output"...Help!

QuestionI am replacing the receiver on my Bose Acoustimass 300 system. All the speakers currently wire through the bass module. Will I still need to do that with this receiver or will I be able to wire each speaker directly to the Onkyo receiver?

QuestionI have a Denon receiver and Bose Speakers. The cube speakers and the sub woofer are hooked together. The two remaining lines are hooked into the front inputs of the receiver. They played beautifully. The receiver has now cut out on me. What happened?

QuestionI Currently have a Sony receiver and it gets warm/hot even when the unit is off using the pass through option. Does the Onkyo stay warm when the unit is off using the pass through? T

- Answer Nope, my new Onkyo receiver is basically room temperature when using the pass through. Even when it's fully on, it's only slightly warm. I recommend it -- although, I only listen to it through headphones, so I can't comment on its sound output.

QuestionI only plan to connect this to my system where the speakers are in the ceiling in 5 rooms(2 speakers per room). I plan to connect a cd player and maybe a turntable. Is this receiver sufficient?

- Answer Short answer? No. Long answer? It's not a question of sufficiency, it's a question of whether or not it's the right application for this tool. This is a 5.1 surround device for use in 1 room where you have a 5.1 surround speaker set installed. If you want to run stereo in multiple rooms, you ideally would need a distribution switcher with a stereo amp in each room. Another approach would be something like a MCA-66 Multi-Zone Controller/Amplifier where you have a 2 channel amp capable of powering multiple sets of speakers in different zones. hope it helps.
