“Is this receiver sound output louder than the SR353?”

• Should be since the wattage rating is higher. I can shake my walls with it.

• I don't think the output will be noticeably louder on the SR373. The SR 373 is a 5.2 system which gives you two subwoofer channels. The extra 15 watts per channel won't make a difference. Your speakers will make all the difference. I went with the SR 373 to have a sub in the front of my room, as well as a wireless sub in the rear .
