“I have a onkyo tx sr373 that has Samsung smart TV connected. Now the onkyo is not recognizing the hdmi3 or the blue ray unit. Any idea of what going on? We've checked connections”

I was having a similar problem and reconnected all connections. This may sound weird but I had to first turn on receiver and wait to hear the unit click in and then turn on cable box or any other unit connections. Since I have followed this same procedure each time; I have not had a problem
