I just did the same thing. An old analog receiver cannot decode the signals of the new TV's. Your older system will work with the new TV but make sure you are using high speed HDMI cords and route to the one labeled ARC and use the included microphone to set the sound automatically. You will be blown away with those Bose speakers attached. Good luck.

Please try again later.One reason you could be running into is your current receiver doesn't support the latest HDMI software standard and also you may be trying to pass 4K content through your old receiver and it can't handle it. What are you trying to do when you say it's not working properly?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used a old bose 5.1 sub woofer system and optima projector on this receiver and it worked fine. This will work with any 5.1 speaker system with 6 ohm input impedance and TV set with hdmi 2 or 2.2 input port.
