QuestionI hooked my cable box to the receiver and the HDMI out to my arc ready tv and the picture keeps flickering. Any suggestions? I hooked my turntable to the cd input and used the ground, this did not work as well. Any suggestions?

QuestionWill this receiver work when I connect my Sony XBR-65X850F to You Tube.The cable box will covert the signal,but when I switch to YouTube,sound only comes through the TV speakers.I was told by Sony the cable box will convert, but not the tv receiver is old

- Answer Yes it will, your Sony TV model provides an optical digital sound output port that needs to be connected to the optical digital input port on the Onkyo receiver. Then for all applications running from your Sony TV you need to select TV for sound input and you will get surround sound (depending on the application) from your receiver.

QuestionIs there a way I can output full range sound via two RCA plugs? I have an old, built in surround system with it's own amp and proprietary plugs that needs audio input via RCA. However, I still want the video output to go via HDMI.

- Answer Not without an HDMI splitter and HDMI converter to RCA. Very messy and not recommended. Can't this receiver simply replace your other one?

QuestionI have the Klipsch Rp-600m, and R-115sw sub. I bought the Onkyo Tx-Sr373. I have a single cord going to the LFE on the subwoofer, and its plugged into sub output number 6 on the receiver. I don't get a lot of bass. It's set to small.

- Answer If you go to the menu settings you should be able to raise or lower power to any speaker. I had the to adjust my mid speaker. Hope this helps. You can also check if your sub can be manually adjusted or setting.

- Answer So far no problems with mine. It works flawlessly! You might want to update your receiver especially if it overheats.

- Answer Anything between 6 and 16 should be acceptable. Using a 4ohm speaker may overheat the amplifier.
