It will drive them, but with 8 ohms speakers you are limited to 100 watts per channel. At 6 ohms speakers you get 220 watts per channel.

I am currently using it with the following Klipsch speakers: Fronts - RF-62 Towers Front Height - RB-51 Bookshelfs Center - RC-52 Center (upgrading to RC-62) Surrounds - RS-42 Surrounds Backs - RB-61 Bookshelfs Subs - Dual RW-10d Powered Subwoofers These are configured in a Dolby Atmos compliant 7.2.2 setup. It sounds phenomenal for both music and movies.
