  • QuestionWhat is the optimal distance this projector should be placed away from the screen? What is the maximum distance this projector can be placed away from the screen and still get the best picture quality possible?

    Asked by HomeTheaterNewbie.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in the HD39HDRx projector. According to the Optoma HD39HDR projector's manual, the optimal distance between the projector and the screen is 10 to 12 feet. The maximum distance between the projector and the screen is 30 feet. However, the image quality will start to degrade at distances beyond 12 feet. It is important to note that these are just general guidelines. The actual distance between the projector and the screen may vary depending on the specific projector and screen you are using. It is always best to experiment with different distances to find the one that produces the best image quality for your needs.
